AnimeDoki is run by a group of dedicated anime nuts who at first needed a place to store all the links and downloads they wanted, but now have decided to build an anime community where everyone can help each other to find the anime they love.

Dokidoki is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a heart beat and is regularly used in informal Japanese to signify either excitement or a feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Obviously nothing excites us more here than great anime so the choice of name seems obvious!

AnimeDoki is still what we might call a ‘toddler site’ (only set up at the very beginning of 2009!). This means that while we are constantly updating and improving the site, we have a lot of work to do before we can claim to provide every single great anime title. This means we desperately need your help! We need mature and dedicated anime lovers to join us here and help us create a truly awesome anime database. At the moment we are looking for Naruto, Bleach and One Piece lovers as well as all other anime fanatics to help us keep up to date with all the great new anime coming out!
